Book Bonanza 2024
Jun 13-15, 2024

Getting tickets (& hotel room) for Book Bonanza held in Grapevine, Texas, (north of Dallas) is no small feat! But I got mine! and sis got hers! and we’ll be mesmerized and having a blast with the many, many authors attending, including Colleen Hoover and E. L. James!

Tickets are now waiting list only and the hotel block is sold out. The Gaylord is humongous! But very nice (& expensive).

Last year, we bought a bunch of books and got them signed by the (hundreds of) authors there. There’s a list on the website. I’m rarin’ to go!

Texas Author Con
July 26-27, 2023

The Texas Author Con & Book Festival is at the Hilton Hotel in Richardson, TX, which is just north of Dallas. I attended last year as a vendor, selling our North Texas Speculative Fiction Workshop authors’ books along with the anthologies I had short stories in. Met some cool people along the way and there was one other Apex Writers’ Group member there with me, Stephanie DeSantos, and she had a really cool table setup.

This year, I’ll be selling my first book in a series, tentatively titles The Angel Project, and more Workshop books. When I’m not writing, I’m working with a cover artist and now I can coordinate a table banner and large sign and so on. Good to have these things done ahead of time!

World Fantasy Convention

October 26-29 at the Sheraton Crown Center, Kansas City, MO.

World Fantasy 2023 is over now and I’ve signed up for 2024 in Niagra Falls. I’ll be posting more about all the stuff I learned, people I met, and just all the fun stuff in Kansas City soon. Stay tuned!
