4.0 out of 5 stars Definitely different. Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2017 There are a lot of good stories and Santa and Rudolph are sort of creepy but I guess that what the authors wanted.Wouldn't read them to my little ones but they are fine for older readers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not your usual Christmas pap! Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2017 I bought this book on Kindle because I am trying to curtail my bookshelf overflow. Then I bought it again because I like the cover art. Then I bought one for a friend who has the same twisted sensibilities as I do. Then I bought four more for other friends. Yeah, I like this book-- zombies, ghosts, mafiosos, cursing reindeer, geriatric teenagers...what's not to love?

4.0 out of 5 stars For those who can't decide if they like Halloween or Christmas the best Skipping around in this collection of short stories, I was really impressed with a few in particular. I was surprised how a splash (or more) of Halloween could still result in a story that made me contemplate the importance of goodwill toward others. Just what a Christmas story is supposed to do, right? Becky Burkheart's The Nose Glows nailed it and had great twists in plot. The Kidnapping of Katie Spooner by Stephen Sanders captured the hard-boiled detective voice perfectly and made me think 'yikes' about being good all year--and what the consequences might be for not being so good. As for That Holiday Newsletter--lolol. Clever and hysterical. Looking forward to reading more of these twisted holiday tales!
